How a walk with Jodie works

Walks usually last 30 to 60 minutes, tailored to your dog’s energy level. I use secure leashes and harnesses and follow safe walking practices, and your dog stays on lead unless you’ve given written approval.

Because walks are one-on-one, there’s no juggling a pack of dogs at the park. Your dog gets my full attention, and I keep an eye out for any change in appetite, energy or behaviour so I can let you know straight away.

What if the weather’s yucky?

We don’t let a little drizzle stop us, but if it’s too hot, stormy, or unsafe, we’ll swap the walk for some fun indoor play and bathroom breaks. On very hot days the RSPCA recommends walking early in the morning or late in the evening, and keeping paws off hot sand, concrete and asphalt.
